FAQs

What is 4K video, and why does it matter?

4K video offers stunning high-definition quality, four times higher resolution than standard HD. This means your wedding film will have clearer, sharper images, allowing us to capture every detail with incredible depth and realism. It matters because you deserve the best possible portrayal of your day, ensuring your memories are preserved with the utmost clarity for years to come.

Why does pro audio matter in a wedding film?

Audio is crucial because it captures the essence of your special day—the vows, the laughter, the music, and all the spontaneous moments that make your wedding unique. Clear, crisp audio brings your wedding film to life, ensuring you can relive every word and every emotion as vividly as possible.

What is a Highlights Montage?

A highlights montage is a 3-8 minute video that I craft within just a few days following your wedding, designed for sharing on social media. It serves as an exciting sneak peek into your documentary full-length wedding film. These montages are a favorite among my clients, and I take special care to create each one promptly after the wedding, ensuring you can start reliving those unforgettable moments almost immediately. In addition, next day one minute teasers are included in all packages. An almost instant way to share your day with loved ones- See one here!

What do you do in crappy lighting situations?

Challenging lighting conditions are no match for expertise and good equipment!  I utilize state-of-the-art cameras and lighting gear designed to handle low light and uneven lighting situations, ensuring your film is beautiful and vibrant, no matter the setting. My experience allows me to find creative solutions to capture stunning footage, even in less-than-ideal lighting conditions.

Do I need a second videographer?

Typically, no. I pride myself on my ability to capture the full essence of your day single-handedly, ensuring no moment goes unnoticed. However, should your wedding's scale or logistics suggest the need for another shooter to capture your day comprehensively, I will recommend and arrange for an additional videographer.

How long will it take to receive my wedding film?

I aim to deliver your wedding film within 4-12 weeks after your wedding day. This timeframe allows me to edit and craft your film carefully, ensuring every moment is presented beautifully, and every detail is polished to perfection. I appreciate your patience and promise it will be worth the wait!

How far in advance should we book with you?

I recommend booking as soon as your wedding date is set—typically at least 9-18 months in advance. Alternatively, last minute bookings happen too— and that’s ok with me as long as I’m free on your date!

Do you outsource your editing, or is it done in-house?

All editing is done in-house by me, adhering to exacting standards. This approach ensures that your wedding film's unique vision and style remain consistent from shooting to final editing. I take great pride in personally crafting each film, ensuring every moment captured is woven into your story with precision and care.
